Karina graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic with a Bachelor of Architecture and received her Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture at Boston Architectural College. Karina’s passion in architecture derives from her use of design to enhance how people live and experience everyday life. Her interest in technology and innovation has led her to participate in intensive courses on digital fabrication and design processes, building on her personal skills and teamwork abilities. She has previously worked as an intern for MagdaGreen Design in Philadelphia, PA, and Tufts University, at the Campus Planning Office in Medford, MA, developing designs for Learning Spaces. Since beginning work at SKA in 2019 Karina has become a key player in SKA’s design process through beautiful visualizations.
